WARNING: Attempted Natwest Scam |

It has come to our attention that here is currently a scam email directed at Natwest Online Banking Customers. It's a clever attempt to make you divulge your online banking details. This sort of thing is becoming more and more common, and is likely to continue until such point as awareness is raised to the level where this sort of social engineering becomes un profitable If in doubt then don't trust this, or any other email communication purporting to be from your bank or other similar financial institution. No reputable bank would contact you in this way. Natwest are aware and have an investigation underway. If you feel that you may have inadvertently divulged any of your banking details or have further concerns on this matter please contact your local branch or the Natwest Online Customer Service Department. In order that you can identify the offending email a sample appears below; Dear NatWest Bank Member, This email was sent by the NatWest server to verify your e-mail address. You must complete this process by clicking on the link below and entering in the small window your NatWest login ID, Password and PIN. This is done for your protection --- because some of our members no longer have access to their email addresses and we must verify it. To verify your e-mail address and access your bank account, click on the link below.
